My parents owned Lamb Shop in Cilycwm from 1986 when they took early retirement, until the early 1990s.
When they first moved there I took a photo of the house and then made a detailed pencil sketch of it to make a stencil card for their "just moved" card to let all their family and friends know where they had moved to.
In the summer of 2020, I redrew the original drawing I made in 1986 (which was on A6 paper) onto A4 cartridge paper, in memory of my parents who passed in 2003, which brought a lot of solace to me during that Pandemic summer whilst I drew the house, remembering my visits to them in Wales. It is in a beautiful valley, a little bit isolated but near the picturesque market town of Llandovery, where my mother was evacuated with her sisters during World War II.
Quote from https://www.discovercarmarthenshire.com/explore/walking-in-carmarthenshire/cil-y-cwm/:
3. The village was once an important stopping off place on a drover’s route. The Cobbled gutters at the side of the road were once used to feed livestock on their long eastward journey to market.
I scanned the original drawing I made in 2020, I use this to print cards with Epson Claria inks with an inkjet printer onto a 190 gsm English watercolour paper with the surface prepared for digital print, a medium weight lightly textured archival fine art card. The card is slightly creamy, off white, not pure white, although it is a little bit lighter than in the photos.
Please note these are reproductions so there may also be some feint colour loss from the original artwork as colour matching cannot be guaranteed during the scanning and printing processes. Photos in the listing are of printed cards but the last is a photo of the original artwork. Colours may vary in different print batches.
Each card is A5 folded to A6 packed with a white diamond flap C6 paper envelope inside a clear compostable bag. This card has been left blank for your own message.

The fibre is stated on all textile products. In the UK this is all that is required so that the consumer can choose their preferred method of cleaning according to the type of fibre. I do include care instructions with textile products if my trade fabric suppliers have provided me with specific care instructions when I bought material from them.
Measurements of the products that I make are included with my listings.
I will send a message to the customer with the tracking details of the parcel once it has been shipped. If there are any unforseen delays in shipping the item then I will advise the customer of the position.

I print the cards myself onto a 190 gsm sustainable English watercolour paper which is lightly textured, acid free and archival with the surface prepared for digital print on both sides. So if you want a custom greeting inside the cards, which are normally blank inside, then it may be possible for me to print some text inside. The cards are packed in compostable clear corn starch bags. Prints are on sustainable digital fine art papers. I specialise in using silk and natural fibres to hand sew scarves, bags and accessories. Many materials I use are made of natural, organic and recycled fibres, sewing everything by hand which reduces my power consumption, and upcycling old dresses, I often re-use packaging to send you your orders.
